This sweet, delicate crepes are stuffed with nutella and fresh strawberries. It is perfect for dessert, breakfast or brunch. If you are entertaining, you can make this into a crepe bar with all different kinds of fillings like chopped bananas, raspberries,toasted coconut, nuts, sweetened cream cheese, ganache, etc….

Sweet Strawberry Nutella Crepe
Ingredients
- ½ cup flour
- 1 tsp sugar
- ⅛ tsp salt
- 2 eggs
- ⅔ cup milk
- 1 Tbsp vegetable oil or canola oil
- 1 lb strawberries sliced
- 1 jar nutella
- 1 cup fresh whipped cream or cool whip
- ¼ cup powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat 12 inch nonstick fry pan in medium/high heat. Mix flour, salt, and sugar in a bowl.
- Add eggs, milk, and oil into the bowl. Whisk together until smooth.
- Spray pan with nonstick cooking spray. While tilting up pan on the left side, pour 1/4 cup of batter into the pan. Start swirling at the top left going counterclockwise. Keep swirling around until batter covers the bottom surface of the pan. Let cook for 2 minutes.
- Turn it over using a crepe spatula or silicone spatula. Cook for 1 minute more. Transfer crepe to a flat dish. Cover the first crepe with wax paper. Continue cooking the rest of the batter putting wax paper in between every crepe. Cover with foil until ready to assemble.
- For filling: Lay 1 crepe on a flat dish. Using a cake spatula, smear 1 1/2 Tbsp of nutella on the center. Arrange strawberries on top of nutella. Roll crepe. Repeat process with the rest of the crepes.
- Top with a dollop of whip cream or cool whip. Dust lightly with powdered sugar.
Notes
Once you start cooking the crepe batter, DO NOT LEAVE IT as it will burn very quickly.
