This is a delicious guacamole dip for tortilla chips. I like using avocados that are just a little soft ripe. I find that they have more creamy flavor. If they are too ripe they get bitter.

Guacamole Dip
Ingredients
- 2 ripe avocados
- ½ jalapeno pepper seeded and finely chopped
- 1 Tbsp onion finely chopped
- ½ lime (juice only)
- ½ tsp salt
- freshly ground pepper to taste
- 1 Tbsp cilantro chopped
- 1 clove garlic minced
Instructions
- Cut avocados in half and discard seed.
- Squeeze juice of lime over the avocados to prevent browning.
- In a bowl, scoop avocado with spoon making sure lime juice gets in the bowl. Mash avocados with fork.
- Add jalapeño, onion, salt, garlic, ground pepper and cilantro. Mix well.
- Serve immediately with tortilla chips.
